DIETARY SUGGESTIONS FROM OUR WEIGHT LOSS CENTER
Undergoing Body Slimming and Toning Sessions is not a license to increase your food intake. On the contrary, we recommend that you go on a low starchy carbohydrate and low saturated fat diet. This allows your kidneys, liver and lymphatic systems to more effectively purge the excess fat as it is released from the fat cells. We also recommend a natural detoxification program along with these healthier lifestyle choices. We have all of the products and information necessary at our weight loss center to help support you in achieving your weight loss goals.
SUGARS
Avoid Simple Sugars – these include sodas, sweet teas, energy drinks, candy or any food rich in sugar or high fructose corn syrup.
Eating Fruit that is LOW in sugar – a well-balanced diet should include a mix of fruit that is low in sugar which includes berries and citrus fruits.
FATS
Bad Fats – Avoid all fried food and fatty meat.
Good Fats – in moderation, foods like avocado, salmon and raw nuts are a good source of fat.
CARBOHYDRATES
Bad Carbs – High in carbohydrates and starchy foods like white bread, bagels, brownies and fried potatoes.
Good Carbs – anything that is high in fiber and low in starch and sugar; including cherries, grapefruit, oatmeal, black beans and yams.
PROTEIN
Referred to as the “building blocks of life”, protein is essential for rebuilding and repairing the body. More than half of your dry body weight consists of protein! This includes muscle, hair, skin, nails, blood, hormones and more.
Good proteins – eggs and egg whites, spinach, broccoli, lima beans and lean meats.
